Pleated blind Amarant

Control

The Amarant pleated blind is available in 3 handling options:
– Cord
The blind is manually lifted up and lowerd down by polyester strings, which are passing throug the cord lock that is located in the headrail. Moving the cords slightly to the center of the blind we can raise and lower the blind. Moving the cord back in the opposite side we can lock the blind on the desired position.

– Chain
The blind is manually lifted and lowered by a chain, that is connected to an in the headrail located monocommand gear. By pulling the chain continuously in one or the other direction , the blind is lowered or lifted or adjusted on a desired position.

– Electrical steering
The blind is lifted and lowered by a low voltage motor of 24V, which is built in the headrail. Through an integrated with the motor switch or remote control we can lower or lift the blind or adjust it on a desired position.

Rails

The rails are made of profiled and painted steel, colour matched to the fabric.
The headrails are available in two dimensions:
– 25×25 mm (HxW) and
– 19×27 mm (HxW).
Classic bottom rail, has dimensions of 11×25 mm (HxW).

Fabrics and textiles

Plisses are made from special synthetic fabrics. They are available in a wide range of colors, with a variety of features, structure and degree of light transmission- from transparent materials to completely blackouts. The fabrics are available as a traditional single fabric and doubble fabric with a honeycomb structure.

Deppending from the used fabric, a pleated blind fulfils following function:
– Protection from the sun,
– Window covering,
– Window decoration,
– By doubble fabrics- termo isolation.

Cords are made in 100% from polyester, color-matched to the whole blind.

Variants

Side guiding
Using the steel wire coated with silicone drawn on both sides of the blind and fixed to the glazing bead with a special holders, we secure the blind and prevent its lean during the window is half open.

Between glas pleated blind
An Amarant pleated blind can be made as a between-glas-blind, for so called box windows. The plisse is lifted and lowered by polyester cords, that are also taken through the window frame. Due to lack of the cordlock for locking the cord a cord clamping button is requested.

Care Instructions

Thanks to a special manufacturing process, our fabric qualities are furnished with an antistatic finish and are therefore resistant to dust and dirt. Occasional brushing with a soft brush or a feather duster is usually sufficient. Big dirt can be removed with a damp cloth, without using any detergent.
We do not recommend to wash a pleated blind.
The head- and bottomrails do not require maintenance.
